This review is for the Deba knife which was purchased. The knife feels solid and is sharp. I will update this review as I continue to use it. So far so good. Great for the price point.
It is sturdy and functions well as a blade. The resin handle is good because it doesn't mold or rot. Especially for hobbyist cooks like me, if you don't use it every day, you won't notice any changes.
Sharp and easy to use (if you are used to Japanese style single bevel).
Just arrived, used it immediately, very happy with it. Hefty, which makes cutting a lot easier. The widest area is about 4.62mm provides lot of momentum and strength for chopping. Only improvement is --- It would be better if there is a saya (sheath) that I could order to fit this deba.
