Sarah I like the look of these knives and they do cut well. I docked a star as I don't like the feel of gripping the handle, doesn't sit well in my hand.

R These are very high quality knives. Very sharp and cut beautifully. They're sturdy, but not heavy to hold while you're using them. The magnetic cutting board is very convenient, too.

Kaiju I am not going to tell anyone they have to buy these knives. If you simply don't mind cooking but want nicer knives, they has other options that are probably great for your needs
