French people love good knives when it's about cutting any real good cheese... This one is perfect.
The fine serrations are fantastic for slicing the skins of tomato. So, it doesn't get "smooshed" at all. So much better than a knife with wide serrations or just a straight blade. The tomato does not have any pressure on it as you saw back and forth.
This product is very sharp and great for cutting anything. I especially wanted it for blocks of cheese and the opening in the blade makes it slide easily through.
Wife was alway complaining about knives not being sharp enough to slice Tomatos properly. Got this and problem was solved. Works great. She can Cut as thin as she wants to now. Does great on cheese also.
Quality cheese knife. Great weight and gorgeous handle. Comes in a box that would make a great gift as well.
